TAHLEQUAH — Funeral services for Jimmy Gulley, age 80, will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010, at the South College Church of Christ in Tahlequah with Mr. David Deffenbaugh officiating.
Interment will follow in the Tahlequah City Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to the care of the Hart Funeral Home of Tahlequah.
Jimmy Gulley of Tahlequah passed away on Nov. 26, 2010, in Bartlesville. He was born March 3, 1930, in Fort Smith, Ark., the son of Arley and Clarisse (Fowler) Gulley.
Mr. Gulley was united in marriage to Jon Evelyn Jordan on June 1, 1955 at the Haskell County Courthouse in Stigler. He worked as a dairy farmer for over 25 years. Mr. Gulley was also employed by North American Aviation as an airplane riveter for over 10 years.
Mr. Gulley is survived by his wife Jon, of the home; one daughter, Tonya and husband David Garrett, of Bartlesville; two sons, William Gulley and his wife Sheila, of Woodall, and Jimmy Faron Gulley and his wife Sandy of Briggs; one brother, Arley Gulley Jr. and his wife Opal, of Tulsa; one sister, Barbara and her husband Lloyd Phillips, of Tulsa; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, two sisters and one grandchild.
