Sharon Kay (Harrington) Fisher
May 14, 1944 ~ October 6, 2024

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Kay Fisher, born on May 14, 1944, in McAlester, Oklahoma to the late Virgil Neal Harrington and Esther Bernice (Benson) Harrington. Sharon peacefully left this world on October 6, 2024, at WW Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She was a woman of strength, love, and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Harold Bruce Fisher.

She is survived by her children R.B. Fisher, Karie Montgomery and husband Jason, and Ryan Fisher and wife April ; 6 grandchildren Josh Fisher, Jake Fisher, Jase Fisher and wife Kelsy, Dillon Stanley and wife Cassidy, Daniel Stanley, and Gunnison Fisher; 4 great-grandchildren Jett Fisher, Jay Bruce Fisher, Stetson Stanley, and Scarlett Stanley; Brother Gary Harrington (deceased) and wife Karen, Sister Gayle Edwards and husband Danny, along with nieces Kim Crawford and Heather Harrington, nephews Kris Perkins and wife Raquel and Todd Edwards and wife Jamie, great nieces and nephews Jessica Hammons and husband Kody, Tommy Crawford, Justin Crawford and wife Cecilie, Anna Rogero, Mary Beth Rogero, and Noble Rogero; foster sister, Donna Frank. She is also survived by great-great nieces and nephews, friends, and other relatives.

Sharon's dedication to her family and unwavering support will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to have her in their lives. A woman of many accomplishments, Sharon held a bachelor's degree, a testament to her hard work and dedication to her education. She worked and retired after 30 years with the Muskogee Public School System. Her passion for learning and her pursuit of knowledge were qualities that endeared her to many.

Sharon always put others before herself, she showed a loving spirit to all who knew her. Her pride and joy were spending time with her husband Bruce and family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed bringing the family together for birthdays, holidays, and any occasion to share time with one another. Sharon would always capture those cherishing moments on camera for family and friends to reminisce on what is truly important in life. Love and family.

Funeral services and ceremonies to honor Sharon's life will take place on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Hart Funeral Home in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. The burial will follow at the Tahlequah City Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest by her beloved husband.

In this time of mourning, let us remember and celebrate the life of Sharon Kay Fisher, a beloved mother, friend, and member of the community. Though she may have left this world, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Sharon's spirit will continue to inspire us all to live with the same grace, courage, and kindness that she embodied throughout her life.
