Funeral services for Thomas "Porky" Fields Jr., will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, at Elm Tree Baptist Church in Tahlequah, with Reverend. D.J. McCarter and Rev. Robert Hogner officiating. Interment will follow at Pumpkin Hollow Cemetery. The family has entrusted Hart Funeral Home of Tahlequah with the arrangements.

Thomas was born on Aug. 31, 1953, in Tahlequah, to Tom and Frances (Reese) Fields. He passed from this life on Nov. 14, 2010 at the age of 57 in Tahlequah.

"Porky" as he was known as to family and friends, graduated from Sequoyah High School in 1972. He enjoyed collecting baseball and football cards, as well as coins. His favorite pastime was watching TV, especially football. Most of all he loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. Porky will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Lawana Joy Gobble; and one brother; Larry Fields.

Those left to cherish Porky's memory are six sisters, Julia Foreman and husband Harold, Rita Bigmeat and husband Moses, Ella Fields and Johnnie Mathis, Ludavene Hudson and husband Randall, Barbara Fields and Gary Webster, and Judith Danford and husband Tharell; four brothers, Johnny Fields and wife Cynthia, Steve Fields and wife Nora, Edward Fields, James Rex Fields and wife Bonnie, as well as numerous nieces nephews and other loved ones.
