Services for Lila (Seitz) Perse, 75, will be held Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 10 a.m., in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with eulogy by Jim Seitz. Interment will follow at Park Hill Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
Lila Blanche Seitz was the youngest of three children born to Grover and Ora Dell (Hendrix) Seitz on Nov. 18, 1936, in Vian. She went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 16, 2012, in Tahlequah.
Lila attended Tahlequah High School. She married the love of her life, Frank Perse, on April 1, 1954, in Tahlequah. Together they raised three children: Donna, Frank Jr. and Ramona.
Lila was an exceptional cook and worked at Greasy Elementary School, making delicious meals for many years. In her spare time, she could be found planning family dinners, taking care of her pets, or going to yard sales. She was also a very good writer and had many of her poems published. The time she spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren was very special to her.
Lila was of the Presbyterian faith. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Lila is preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Ora Dell Seitz; sister, Anna Stockwell; brother, Tom Seitz; husband, Frank Perse; son, Frank Patrick Perse; and son-in-law, Kenny Ramsdell.
Lila is survived by her daughters, Donna Ramsdell and Ramona Brown; husband, Steve Brown; granddaughters, Sara Payton and husband Larry, Jamie Hale and husband Brad, LaDonna Ballard and Stevie Nicole Brown; grandsons, Dalton Perse and Bryce Ballard; great-grandchildren, Kennedy Payton, Krosley Payton, Jackson Hale and Colton Hale; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Perse of Wyandotte; as well as a host of friends and loved ones.
