Mr. George C. Woodall was born in the State of South Carolina April 17, 1804, removed to Georgia “Old Cherokee Nation, and married Ellen Moore, in December 1827. Came West with what is known as Old Settler Cherokees, in the year 1832 or 1833, and died at the residence of his son, Mr. J. T. Woodall, in Delaware District, C. N., June 1st, 1880. The funeral of Mr. Woodall will be preached at Hone Creek Church, Delaware District, on Sunday September 5th, 1880.
