Services for Troy Eugene Take, 78, of Tulsa, are Saturday, Sept. 22, at 2p.m., at Green Country Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Carl Clark.

Troy Eugene Take was born April 14, 1934, in Tahlequah. He passed away in Tulsa on Sept. 18, 2012.
He grew up in the Gideon area where he attended school before transferring to Tahlequah High School.
Troy had worked as a truck driver, roofer, and had his own plumbing business, Takes Plumbing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Joe Woodard; and infant son, Michael Eugene Take.
Troy is survived by his children, Clifford Take and Barbara of Tulsa, Beverely Spriggs and Gary of Tahlequah, and Jerry Take of Tahlequah; as well as five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
