Vera Earle Steele, 85, of Sapulpa, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2012, at her home.

She was born on May 24, 1927, in Seminole, to Gordon and Bessie (Comingdeer) Fain. She lived in the Sapulpa area for four months after coming from the Tahlequah area.

She is preceded in death by her husband and parents. She is survived by her children, Rusty and Sabra Steele of Broken Arrow, Robbi-Gayle Hayes of Tahlequah, and Jahwana Tuttle of Sapulpa; grandchildren, Shelby Steele, Loren and Rick Handrich, Stephanie Stepp, Eric McConnell, Jeff Hefner, Chance and Brooke Tuttle; one great-grandchild, Serenity McConnell.

Private Family services will be held. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Sapulpa.
