Services for Ned A Scott, 76, of Oaks were held at 12:30 p.m. November 7, 2002 at Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. D.J. McCarter officiating. Burial followed at Fort Gibson National Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Jack Bluebird, Carl Mullins, Darrell Case, Mark Case, Quentin Case and Levi Adair.

Honorary pallbearers were Woodrow Scott, and James R Scott.

Ned A Scott was born to Riley and Doris Scott on December 27, 1925 in Bunch and died November 3, 2002 in Oaks after reaching the age of 76 years, 10 months and 6 days.

Scott loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed having an old-fashioned cooked meal.

He loved working outdoors and especially enjoyed mowing his yard.

Ned enjoyed life and will be missed by all who knew him.

Scott is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his step-mother, Louannia Scott; two stepdaughters, Linda Cobb and husband Standley, and Shirley Ramsden; tow brothers, Calvin Scott and Jack Scott; several grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as a host of friends and loved ones.
