Mrs. Nellie M. Reese The Cherokee Advocate

Died - On Tuesday the 15th inst., at her residence near town, Mrs. Nellie M. Reese, widow of Charles Reese. Mrs. Reese was born in Lookout Valley, Georgia, in 1800, where she lived until her sixteenth year, when she was married to Charles Reese and removed with him to the banks of Tennessee River, where Chattanooga now is. While living here, she and her husband became members of the Brainard Church, under charge then of Rev. Cyrus Kingsbury of the A .B. C. F. M. In 1837 the family removed to this Arkansas Country, where she has resided ever since.
