Funeral services for Anna Liza (Rattlingourd) Grass, 83 of Tahlequah will be held at 1 pm Monday June 17, 2002 at the Reed Culver Funeral Home. Rev. D.J. McCarter will officiate.Burial will follow at the Grass Cemetery near Salina Oklahoma.
Anna Liza Grass was born June 3, 1919 near Hulbert, the daughter of Looney and Lucinda (Ketcher) Rattlingourd, she passed from this life on June 13, 2002 in Tahlequah.
She grew up near Lost City and attended school at Bethel and Sequoyah Indian School. Anna lived many years in Salina and Jay before moving back to Tahlequah. Anna was a member of the Elm Tree Indian Baptist Church.
She was involved in all her church activities, from WMU, deaconess and singing.
Four brothers, one sister and two granddaughters preceded her in death.
She is survived by two daughters, Bobbie Jean O'Field of Woodall, and Carol and Husband Dennis Six killer of Tahlequah; three sons, David Grass, Stanley (Judy) Grass and Alfred (Marian) Grass, all of Jay; a sister, Linda and husband Carl Shade of Hulbert. She leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 12 great-Grandchildren.
There will be a prayer service Sunday, 7 to 9 pm at the Reed Culver Funeral Home.
