Standing Pine Mississippi-Felicia June (Bolin) Benton was born June 5, 1964 in Tahlequah, the daughter of Frances (Sockey) Bolin and the late Martin Bolin.

As a young child, Felicia attended Grandview Elementary School, then later, Tahlequah High School and graduated in 1982.

She then later moved to the Choctaw reseveration in the Standing Pine Community of Mississippi.

She was employed at the Silver Star Resort and Casino in Philadelphia Mississippi as security. Felicia resided in Standing Pine with her sister Renita and brother-in-law Edwin.

Felicia was 38 at the time of her death. She was killed in a car accident on November 5, 2002.

She was preceded in death by her father, Martin Bolin of Tahlequah, her grandfather John Bolin; grandmothers, Valerie Sockey and Lila (Stayathome)Bolin; and great grandmother Nephus Sockey. She is survived by her two children, two sisters, two brothers her mother, Frances C (Sockey) Bolin of Tahlequah, two nieces and a nephew, also a host of aunts, uncles and cousins in Mississippi and Oklahoma.

Funeral services were held November 9, 2002 at the Hopewell Baptist

Church in Standing Pine Mississippi with the Rev. Calvin Gibson officiating.

She was laid to rest in the family cemetery in Standing Pine.
