Rose-
Charles Alvin Thompson Sr. was born on April 13, 1951, in Pryor,
Oklahoma, to Herbert and Bernice Thompson. He departed this life on
September 20, 2025, in Rose, Oklahoma, after bravely battling cancer; a
struggle he faced with strength and dignity. As a dedicated Veteran of the

throughout his life. Following his military career, he became a
cross-country truck driver, where he embraced the open roads.
Chuck was more than just his professions; he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife, Peggy Thompson of the home, his son, Charles Thompson Jr of Tulsa, Oklahoma and his daughter, Belinda Scott and her husband Aaron of Vail, Arizona. Chuck was passionate about a range of hobbies and interests. An avid outdoorsman he loved to go hunting and fishing. He had a passion for music and loved to listen to classic rock, country, and gospel tunes.
Chuck also had an adventurous culinary spirit, relishing the opportunity to try new foods from different cultures. One of his favorite pastimes was visiting his daughter in Arizona, where cherished memories were created. He was also a proud member of the American Legion, embodying the values of camaraderie and community service.
