Micky Gene Wynn, 60, passed away on October 5, 2024, in Hulbert, OK. Born on August 24, 1964, in Muskogee, OK, to Joe Charles and Barbara Sue (Mayfield) Wynn. Micky was a beloved husband, Dad, son, brother, Papa and lifelong resident of Hulbert.
Micky graduated from Hulbert High School in 1982, where he excelled in sports, particularly football and wrestling. Known for his friendly nature, he was described by many as someone who “never met a stranger.” Despite facing many struggles, Micky's warmth and friendly nature remained his defining traits.
He leaves behind his wife, Paula Smith of the home; sons, Micky JoDel Wynn and his wife Kristina, and Trevor Wynn; daughter, Haylee Fleming and her husband Michael, all of Hulbert, OK. He was a proud Papa to six grandchildren: Ty Wynn, Gage Wynn, Asher Fleming, Jaden Wynn, Harlin Wynn, and River Wynn. He is also survived by his mother, Barbara Wynn; sister, Monica Wynn; and brother, Marty Wynn and Sonya, all of Hulbert, OK and Ricco Wynn and Judith of Elreno, OK and sisters, Bernai and Heaven Wynn of Hulbert, OK. Micky will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Micky was preceded in death by his father, Joe Charles Wynn in 2019, along with many loving friends and family members.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Shipman Funeral Home in Wagoner, OK. A service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Hulbert First Baptist Church, 126 E. 5th St., Hulbert, OK. Burial will follow at Hulbert I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Hulbert, OK.
