TAHLEQUAH — Jim was born Nov. 26, 1948, in Wagoner, and passed away June 10, 2012, at the age of 63 years and seven months in Tahlequah. He was raised in Hulbert, where he attended school until he went into the service. He was a diesel mechanic and heavy equipment operator by trade.

Jim enjoyed his fast cars, boating, fishing and spending time with his true love, Georgia Hempleman Rainbolt. His pride and joy were his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, which he loved spending his time with. He enjoyed talking with his mother and mother-in-law until their passing.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Glee L. Whitehead; father; uncles, Hal Ray and Frank Beaver; aunts, Peggy Dodd, Lucille Martin and Joan Beaver; and mother-in-law, Eleanor “Bunny” Hempleman; and a brother-in-law, Randy Powell.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Georgia; brothers, David and Liz Rainbolt of Pryor, and Ray and Amber Whitehead of Owasso; sister, Ozella Kay Powell of Manford; children, Jerri Sue and Zack Waits of Wagoner, Cindy and Frank McCully of Hulbert, Brenda and Narno Jimenez of Tahlequah, Stephanie and Bucky Sistler of Kotzebue, Ala., Steven Rowland of Pryor, Jamie and Jeremy Brixey of Peggs, and Jennifer and J.R. Chism of Vivian, La. Jim's pride and joy, his grandchildren, Matthew, Chris, Jake, James, MIcheal, Krystal, Justin, Hannah, Erin, Emily ,Chris, Wade, William, Haley, Jaylynn, Jacen, Tate, Caleb and Preston; and two great-grandchildren, Aiden and Athena. He also leaves behind two special uncles, Floyd Beaver and Junior Dodd; and a special aunt, Clara Beaver; along with a host of family and friends.

Services will be Wednesday, June 13, 10 a.m., in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Hulbert I.O.O.F. Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home. Family visitation will be Tuesday, June 12, at 5 p.m., at the funeral home.
