Linda Jane Martin was born on May 5, 1954 in Oklahoma City, the daughter of T.W. and Rae (Busbee) Workman. Linda married the love of her life, Billy Jack Martin, and together they raised their two sons, Scott Allen Martin and Jessie Don Martin, until Billy's passing in August of 2005.

Billy and Linda greatly enjoyed spending time attending their children's sporting events. She was wonderful at caring for her family and she was a devoted mother and wife. If she was scolding you, you can be sure it was probably well deserved. Linda was also a good cook, especially when it came to cooking ribs, chicken enchiladas, and ham. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing. Linda had a heart for animals and would take in and care for the stray dogs and cats that came her way. Linda also worked as a Realtor for Cochran Realty in Tahlequah.

Linda passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2012. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jack Martin; and a brother, Jerry Workman.

Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, T.W. and Rae Workman of Stilwell; sons, Scott Martin of Vian, Jessie Martin of Vian, and Steven Harper of Vian; brother Russ Workman and his wife Ladena of Lincoln, Ark.; nieces, Andrea Barnett and Deanna Allen, both of Fayetteville, Ark.; and her great nephew, Hudson Barnett of Fayetteville, Ark., as well as a host cousins and loved ones.
