Harvey Gene Guinn was born on April 8, 1952, the son of Paul and Betty (Neewbie) Guinn in Oklahoma City, OK.

Upon finishing high school, he enlisted in the United States Army and served from 1971 until 1972 and again from 1974 until 1976. He was honorably discharged in 1976. On February 3, 1974, he married the love of his life, Patricia Davis. This union was blessed with two daughters.

Harvey was a welder and woodworker by trade. He graduated from Tulsa Welding School and worked for Hydro Conduit until he was no longer able to work.

When he wasn't working, he enjoyed a day spent outdoors either hunting or fishing. He loved to go four-wheeling and being with friends and family. Harvey loved his family and put them first and foremost in his life. Any time with his grandkids was a good day. He was a friend to all who knew him and he had a wonderful sense of humor.

He was Baptist by faith. Harvey was called home to his heavenly home on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Tahlequah with his wife and family at his side. He was 57 years old.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Christopher Guinn, mother-in-law Patricia Davis, brother-in-law Mike Davis, nephew Wesley Davis, and uncle Preston Davis.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife Patricia Guinn of the home and two daughters, April Walton and husband Cregg and Jessica Chaffin and husband Jason, all of Cookson, OK. His six adored grandchildren include Aaron Blevins, Hunter Chaffin, Stoney Walton, Jordan Chaffin, Haylei Chaffin, and Jagger Clifford Gene Walton. He is also survived by his father-in-law, Huston Davis and a cousin Sandy Strump as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
