Sharon Kay Christie, daughter of Virgil Lee and Myrtle Louise (Taylor) Kindle, was born on December 24, 1943 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed from this life on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at 71 years of age.

Sharon was raised in Proctor, living most of her life in Westville. She was a member of the Proctor Community Church. She married Johnny Christie in Tahlequah, three children were born of this marriage. Sharon enjoyed crossword puzzles, traveling to Eureka Springs and Branson and she enjoyed taking fluffy everywhere she went. She loved all of her grandchildren immensely.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Johnny Richard Christie, 2nd husband: Lonnie Hammer, sons: Johnny Ray Christie, Roger Wayne Christie, brother: Virgil Ray Kindle.

She is survived by her loving family that includes her husband: Terry of the home, daughter: Tonya Birdsong of Watts, OK, sisters: Connie Mouse of Tahlequah, OK, Betty Meredith and husband Gary of Proctor, OK, Claudine Benton and husband Dana of Christie, OK, Janet Campbell and husband Cecil of Stilwell, OK, brother: Keith Kindle of Cookson, OK, grandchildren: Justin Christie, Shantal Christie, Shawn Christie, Mandy Christie, Brittany Deaton, Erick Deaton, Tyler Wright, Hailey Lasley, Kyleigh Lasley, Dayton Lasley, several great grandchildren.

Many other relatives and multitude of friends also survive her.

Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Proctor Community Church, Proctor, OK with Bro. Danny Willard officiating. Interment followed at Cedar Tree Cemetery, Briggs, OK under the direction of Roberts and Hart Funeral Home.
