Jimmy Dean Wolfe son of Jim and Maudie (Catron) Wolfe was born July 2, 1941 in the Wauhillau Community, Adair County Oklahoma, and departed this life to be with our Lord on July 6, 2007 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years and 4 days.
He married the love of his life Patricia A. Barger on August 5, 1966 and with this union there were 3 children; Michael, Jim and Lori Jean.
Jim was employed by Fred Jones Ford in Tulsa for many years before moving back home to Stilwell. He then worked at Hudson Farms and then at Greenleaf Nursery for 27 years. He retired May 2004 but this year went to work full time.
He loved to fish, swim, raising cattle, but most of all he loved to worship God thru his music and spending time with his grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Patricia, 1 sister; Mary Sue Wolfe, 1 brother; Johnny Wolfe.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes 1 son; Jim Fred Wolfe and wife Jeanean of Stilwell, OK, 1 daughter Lori Jean Wolfe of Stilwell, OK, 1 step-son; Michael Sullivan, 7 grandkids; Corben Wolfe, Jacob Wolfe, Janice Wolfe and Silverio Wolfe, Nathan Sullivan, Morgan Sullivan, Sydney Sullivan, 4 brothers; Adam Wolfe and wife Corena of Stilwell, OK., Henry Wolfe and wife Nancy of Catoosa, OK, Bird Wolfe and wife Louann of Stilwell, OK., Tommy Wolfe of Stilwell, OK., 2 sisters; Dorothy Brackett, Betsy Wing and husband Bill all of Stilwell, OK. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 13, 2007 in the Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel.
Interment followed in the Caney Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
