Funeral services for John Mitchell Sanders, age 88, will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at the Hart Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Charles Duvall officiating.

Interment will follow services at Caney Cemetery in the Tailholt Community. Services have been entrusted to the care of the Hart Funeral Home of Tahlequah.

John Mitchell Sanders was born to George Mitchell Sanders and Bertie (Holderbee) Sanders on September 27, 1921 in the Tailholt Community. He passed from this life on October 31, 2009 at Tahlequah City Hospital, after reaching the age of 88 years, 1 month and 4 days.
