Memorial services for Jim Wilson Pack, age 84, will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 3, 2009 at the Hart Funeral Chapel, with Chaplain Bill Holcomb officiating. Interment will follow at Barber Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to the care of Hart Funeral Home of Tahlequah.

Jim Wilson Pack was born on January 10th, 1925 the son of Nellie Pack in Bunch, OK. Jim was employed as a farmer. He enjoyed being outdoors and working the land. When he wasn't working, he liked to go coon hunting and train hunting dogs. He was fond of taking his girls to the store for a Snickers bar or a chocolate soda and affectionately called his daughter Ruby “Dumplin”. Jim resided most of his life in the Westville area and moved to Tahlequah in 2001 to be closer to his daughters. The Lord called him home to his eternal rest on Monday, March 30, 2009 in Tahlequah, OK.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Martha Campbell; one brother, Bill Pack; and a grandson, Randy Shores Jr. Jim's survivors include three daughters, Vera and husband David Lackey of Texas, Ruby Shores of Tahlequah, and Peggy and husband Rickie Tackett of Ft. Gibson. There is also one sister, Ruby Burton of Stilwell; one brother, Haskell “Coon” Pack of KS; and five grandchildren, Monica Kalunga, Tonya, Brandon Shores, Samantha Harbaugh, and Shawn Farar; one great grandchild, Ezekiel David; nieces Carolyn Pack and Barbara Pack as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
