Mrs. Williams was born in Commerce Texas on March 12, 1878 and died in Ardmore, Thursday, December 31, 1959 after a short illness. She had lived in Ardmore for 70 years and was the widow of Jake Williams, former police officer and Justice of the Peace.
She is survived by a son, W. L. of Oklahoma City; two daughters Bessie M. and Mrs. W. L. Johnson both of Ardmore and five grandchildren.
