Sandra Kay Eden, 83-year-old Thackerville, OK resident, peacefully passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at her home while surrounded by her loving family.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Ardmore, OK with Pastor Joe Patterson officiating. Services have been entrusted to the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home of Marietta, OK.

Sandra began this life on July 27, 1941, in Honey Grove, TX, the daughter of Manco and Francis (Gorum) James. Not long after graduating from high school, Sandra married the love of her life, Travis Eden, on August 17, 1959, in Gainesville, TX. The two had celebrated more than 65 years together.

Sandra worked as the secretary for Travis' heating and air conditioning business for many years. When she wasn't working and keeping him lined out, Sandra loved caring for her animals, and she also spent a great deal of time playing the piano. Sandra had an infectious laugh that you could make out from a mile away. She loved laughing and carrying on with her children and grandchildren and will always be remembered as a wonderful provider who always put family first.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Travis of the home; son, Rex Eden of the home; daughter, Diane Lipps and husband Arnett of Fate, TX; grandchildren, Alex Eden, Trenton Graybill, Alexis Eden, and Isaiah Eden; sister, Peggy Young of Ardmore; nephews, Tony Young and John Young; and niece, Cindy Campbell.
