Services for Terence Edward “Terry” Weber, 65, of Ardmore will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 27 in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home, Ardmore, with the Rev. Dewain Duck, pastor of Bethel Assembly of God Church, officiating.

Interment will be in the Lone Grove Cemetery.

Born July 6, 1943 in Waukesha, Wisconsin, the son of David Edward and Lavera Isabel Sedgwick Weber, he died Sunday, March 22, 2009 in Colorado City, Texas, following a sudden illness.

Mr. Weber grew up in Peauwakee, Wisconsin and served as an altar boy at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He recently mentioned how much he loved and enjoyed the music in the church. He could still remember how beautiful it was. Mr. weber was inducted into the Land of Lakes Hall of Fame in 2003 in Hartland, Wisconsin for his outstanding performance in baseball. He was very honored to be associated with D.H. Blattner & Sons; his co-workers were considered as “family” and he loved each and every one. He and Linda were the owners of “Casa Linda” ranch. Mr. Weber had planned to work on the ranch after retiring. He loved everything outdoors and was devoted to sports, hunting, horses and cattle. He had always loved working on the farm where he was raised in rural Wisconsin. Mr. Weber was the oldest brother to Tim and Pat Weber, the best older brother that one could have. He will be missed deeply, his infectious smile, his great sense of humor and his willingness to always be a friend. It is hard to say good-bye to someone you love so much.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Weber of the home in Lone Grove; two daughters, Maurita Stoker and Kirsten Stritzel; a son, T.D. Weber; a stepson, Gordon Bradley Fultz; eight-grandchildren; and two brothers, Timothy Weber and Pat Weber.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a stepson, Michael McKim Fultz.

Pallbearers will be his associates and co-workers at D.H. Blattner & Sons.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 26 at Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home.
