Graveside services for Donna Wiggins, age 63, of Norman will be held at 3:00 pm
Saturday, November 13, 2010 in the
Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1610 C Southeast in
Ardmore, Oklahoma with Dr. Alton Fannin of the First Baptist Church of
Ardmore officiating.
A Memorial service will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, November 12,
2010 at the Senior Cottages Club House, 2901 Oaktree Avenue in Norman.
Donna was born July 22, 1947 in Madill, Oklahoma the daughter of Joe and Rosa
(Morgan) Wiggins. She passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010 in the Norman
Regional Hospital.
She attended schools in Wilson, OK, graduating from Wilson High School in 1965.
Donna later attended East Central State University in Ada, Oklahoma
She began a career with the University of Oklahoma in 1985, retiring from
printing services in 2000.
Donna had a wonderful sense of humor, making friends with whomever she met. She
had a zest for life and enjoyed laughing and making others laugh with her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Wiggins.
Survivors include her mother, Rosa Wiggins of Ardmore, OK; one son, Gregg Parker
and his wife, Michelle of Norman; one granddaughter, Lauren Parker of Norman;
and one sister, Ann Williamson and her husband, Royce of Ardmore.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262
Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Bob Stoops Champions Foundation,
Inc., 180 West Brooks Street, Room 320, Norman, OK 73019.
