Wanda Lee Butler, of Maysville, passed away February 17, 2016 in Purcell,
Oklahoma at the age of 93 years.
Wanda Lee Bean was born February 2, 1923 in Asher, Oklahoma to John and Nancy (Jeffcoat)
Bean. She was raised in the Asher and St. Louis, Oklahoma area. She attended
schools in St. Louis and is a graduated of the St. Louis High School. She and
her husband, Jack C. Butler, moved to Ardmore in late 1974 and began a Tax and
Accounting Service. Following his death in 1983 she moved to make Maysville her
home in 1983. After her retirement she greatly enjoyed her life on the farm;
especially fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Nancy Bean; her husband, Jack
C. Butler; and two brothers, Sidney Bean and Morrison Bean.
Surviving family include two sisters-in-law, Jimaleen Bean and Lois Bean; one
niece, Susan Reed; three nephews, Bobby Bean, Donald Ray Bean and Johnny Bean,
all of Maysville.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 22, 2016 at 10:30 am at
Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance. Interment will be at Hillcrest
Memorial Park in Ardmore under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral
Home.
