Richard Henry Bromagem passed away at the age of 61 at Ardmore, Okla., on
Saturday, December 10, 2016.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday,
December 12, 2016, at The Chapel in Griffin ~ Hillcrest with Mr. Larry Stinson
officiating.
Richard was born on January 4, 1956, in Bartlesville, Okla., to Roland Henry
Bromagem and Bertha Jewel (Campbell) Bromagem. After the death of his mother, he
and his father moved to Ardmore, Okla., in 1972. Richard married Miss Pamela
Walker in August of 1974 at Lake Murray Chapel. He graduated in 1978 from
Ardmore High Schools. He went into business with his father-in-law and later
became sole owner of the Hickory House Bar-B-Q. The business closed in 2004.
Richard was an avid dog lover. He raised, showed, and kenneled his favorite
Boston Terriers as well as many other breeds. He was a passionate St. Louis
Cardinal's fan, watching any game he could, and also supporting his Oklahoma
collegiate teams. Richard will be remembered as a good father and husband,
devoting himself to his family.
He is preceded in death by both parents, and brother, Leroy Bromagem.
Richard is survived by his wife, Pam, of the home, two sons: Kenny Bromagem of
Bethany, Okla., and Kelly Bromagem of Marietta, Okla., two grandchildren:
Brayden of Ardmore and Kynlee of Marietta, two sisters: Sue McGee of Nowata,
Okla., and Bertha 'Annie' Lanckriet of Bartlesville, Okla.
