Born May 23, 1937 at Simon, the daughter of Clyde Henry and Freda Lee Anderson Witt, she died Friday, September 18, 2020 at her residence. Ann attended Courtney Elementary School, Jefferson Davis High School in Houston from ninth to 11th grade, and graduated from Plainview High School, Ardmore. Ann married Sam Blankenship, Jr., on May 29, 1956. She worked as a medical secretary and medical office manager. Ann was an avid Oklahoma University and bowling fan. She and Sam were members of Northwest Baptist Church and enjoyed their Sanctuary Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, James E. Witt and an infant brother.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Sam Blankenship, Jr.; son, Warren Blake Blankenship and wife Sheila; granddaughter, Jacci Southern and husband Jack; grandson, Scott Blankenship and wife Natalie; and great-granddaughters, Baylor and Ella.
