Funeral service for Joy Annetta "Ann" Barker, 58, of
Blanchard, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 21, 2005 at the Middleburg
Baptist Church. Joy Annetta "Ann" Barker was born Dec. 16, 1946 in Chickasha and
died May 18, 2005 in Oklahoma City.
She lived in Grady County most of her life. She worked for the Express-Star as
an advertising representative for a number of years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Barker.
Survivors include three sons, Travis Tindle and wife, Kerri, of Edmond, OK,
Trevor Tindle and wife, Aimee, of Maysville, OK and Brandon Tindle of Edmond,
OK; parents, Raymond and Jewel Thompson of Alex, OK; stepson, James;
stepdaughters, Christine, Becky, Lisa and Debbie; one brother, Charles Thompson
and wife, Zillah, of Alex, OK; one sister, Kaye Mink and husband, Jack of Alex,
OK; one granddaughter, Quintyn Olivia Tindle of Edmond, OK; many
step-grandchildren.
Interment will be in the Yukon Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral
Home.
