Jimmy Edward Tallent

He was born May 11, 1938,
in Anadarko, OK, to Don and Bessie [Owings] Tallent. He graduated from Anadarko Public Schools then joined the US Army. Over the years he was a truck driver as well as farmed and raised
cattle. He was a member of the Simmental and Maine-Anjou Cattle
Associations. He retired in December 2010 from Canadian County, where he worked for
11 years. He raised his family in the Mustang area before moving to
Union City in the early '90s. His passion in life was hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his longtime companion Wanda Cummins; sons,
Dawrence and wife Roann of Union City, Mike and wife Chasity of Mustang,
and daughter Debi Moore and husband Jeremy of Yukon. Also by 5 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and brothers Harold
Owings, Howard, George and Roy Tallent. The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff at Oklahoma
Heart Hospital. Services were 10 am Thursday, November 3, at McNeil's Funeral Service
in Mustang with interment at Union City Cemetery.
Jimmy passed away Monday, October 31, 2011.
