Aged Man's Rites Set for El Reno
Services for Frank Peters, 90 years old, who died Wednesday at his home, 217 West Thirty-fourth street, will be conducted by Rev. John R. Abernathy from the Central Methodist church at El Reno at 2 p.m. Thursday.
Burial in Union City will be in charge of he Watts and McAtee Funeral Home.
Peters, father of Andrew J. Peters, vice-president of the First National Bank and Trust Co., homesteaded in 1892 near Union City. He lived on his farm there 18 years and moved to El Reno, later to Okmulgee. He had lived here four years.

Services Here for '89er in County
Last rites for Franklin Peters, 80, Canadian County '89er and pioneer farmer who died Wednesday at his home in Oklahoma City, were held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Central Methodist Church in El Reno.
Following the services, in charge of Rev. J.R. Abernathy of Oklahoma City, assisted by Rev. R.S. Satterfield, El Reno, the body was taken to Union City for interment.
Mr. Peters retired 15 years ago from the farm he homesteaded in the Union City community, and moved to El Reno. Later he went to Muskogee. He had been making his home in Oklahoma City for the past four years.
He is survived by his wife, Caroline, at the home address; two sons, Andrew J., Oklahoma City, and E.W. Peters, Verden, Okla ; one daughter, Mrs. Bessie Peters Callahan, Durant, Okla., and one brother, John Peters, of Luray, Mo.
