Mrs. Peters, Pioneer, Dies

Mrs. Caroline G. Peters, 92, 217 N.W. 34, died at 7:40 p.m. Sunday in St. Anthony Hospital. Hospitalized four weeks, she had suffered a stroke.

Mrs. Peters was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, coming to Oklahoma in 1890 to join her husband, Franklin, who had made the run of 1889. They settled near Union City, moving to Oklahoma City in 1929.

Mrs. Peters was a member of the Crown Heights Christian Church.

Among survivors are a daughter, Mrs. R.O. Callahan, 217 N.W. 34 and two sons, A.J. Peters, of the home and E.W. Peters, Chickasha. Her great-grandchildren will be bearers.

Rites will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Hahn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Union City.
