Lena Faye Alger was born October 12., 1942
, in Union City to Roy Irvin Alger Sr. and Edith Bell Waller Alger and
died
Oct. 26, 2008, at 2:30 p.m. at her home in Geary.
In addition to her husband, William Harold (Bill) Pittman; she was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Ervin Alger and Edith Bell Waller Alger; a brother, Roy Ervin Alger II; and a grandson, Matthew Dean Pittman.
Survivors include her sons, Harold Dean Pittman and wife. Karen of Geary, Bobby Gean Pittman of Boonville, Mo., and Mark Allan Pittman and wife, Lorena of Geary; her daughters, Kathern Sue Powell and husband, Rickey Sr. of Geary, Kristine Ann Murray and husband, Grady of Geary, LaDonna Lynn Crowley and husband, Mike of Fayette, Mo., and Carol Elaine Dobson and husband, Mike of Minco; a brother, Charles Alger of El Reno; sisters, Carol Stine of Okarche and Debbie Oblentis of Midwest City; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
