Christian Allen Scott, infant son of Leonard and Mary Scott, was born at Cushing Memorial Hospital, Leavenworth, Kansas at 11:02 a.m. on June 1, 2005. He was 2 lbs. 1oz. and 14-1/2 inches long.

His brief life was a miracle and a testimony of God's love as his parents were able to hold him, hear him cry, see his feet kick, and watch his baptism. He went to be with Jesus at 2:30 p.m. that afternoon, and in those three hours his family lived a lifetime.

He is greatly missed by his parents, brothers - Lenny and Will, sister - Ariel, grandparents: Bill and Rosemary Kerber, Mrs. Jammye Clark Scott, Col. (Ret.) Leonard Scott, and great-grandparents: Mr. Stephan Horvath, Col. (Ret.) Robert E. Clark and Eileen Niles Scott.

A memorial service was held on June 7, 2005 at River City Vineyard Christian Fellowship, Leavenworth, Kansas and a service was held at the St. Josephs Catholic Church in Union, City, Oklahoma on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at 6:30 pm. Father Phillip Donahoe of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in El Reno officiated.

Burial was at the St. Josephs Cemetery, Union City under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that you please consider the following organization: MEND - Mothers Enduring Neonatal Death, PO Box 1007, Coppell, Texas 75019.
