MOORE — Michelle Poppa, 48, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2010, in Moore, Okla. She was born Feb. 17, 1962, in Moab, Utah, to J. W. and Jearldine (Jones) Steppick.
She grew up in Waukomis , Okla. She was a graduate of Waukomis High School and had lived in Moore for the last five years. She was an executive assistant at OU Medical Center.

She is survived by two daughters, Ashlee Taylor and husband Larry of Oklahoma City and Shay Poppa of Yukon; her partner, Grant Hammons of Moore; and her parents, J. W. and Jearldine Steppick. Also by four grandchildren, Trinitee, Kaylee, Trenton and Charytie; and one brother, David Steppick of Oklahoma City.

Service will be 10 a.m. today, Aug. 19, 2010, in the Chapel of The Good Shepherd at McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service, Mustang, Okla., with interment following in Red Hill Cemetery , Mustang.
