JoCleta Smith, 92, passed away August 25, 2019 at home.

She was born Nov. 2 , 1926 in OKC to Tom and Esther (Dunlap) Petty. She attended NE High School and OSU where she met her husband of 60 years, Perry Smith. She enjoyed caring for and being with family, watching old movies, and working around the house and on cars with Perry.

She was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Esther (Dunlap) Petty; and husband, Perry Smith

She is survived by her brother Dan Petty and wife Linda; daughter Donna and husband Mike Johnson; daughter Debra and Gary Brewer; granddaughters and spouses Amy and Chris Tener and Abby and David Brown; grandson Dustin Brewer and wife Stacy;great grandchildren Olivia and Chloe Tener and Spencer and Peri Brown.

Funeral service for Perry Smith were  held at 1 PM Saturday, July 15, 2006 at the Baggerley-South Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed  at Mustang Cemetery.

Perry Ray Smith was born June 4, 1922 in Ft. Scott, KS to Lewis Walter and Florence Edna (Records) Smith and passed away July 13, 2006 at the age of 84.  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army's 45th division during WWII. He retired from Tinker Air Force Base as a logistics officer and received the highest civilian military honor, the Meritorious Civilian Service Award. 

Preceding him  in death were his parents; brothers, Kenneth and Glen Smith. 

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, JoCleta; children, Donna Jo Johnson and husband Michael of OKC; Debra Kaye Brewer and husband Gary of OKC; siblings, Clifford E. Smith, Wilma Jean Mooneyham; grandchildren, Amy Tener and husband Chris, Abby Brown and husband David, Dustin Brewer; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Chloe Tener, and Spencer Brown
