Marjorie Lee Kremeier, 93, passed away peacefully on Dec. 3, 2024, in Oklahoma City.
 

She was born Aug. 23, 1931, in Berryville, Ark., to Gurn Hull and Edna (Anglin) Hull.
 

Marjorie was greatly loved by her family and many lifelong friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was a special, caring lady and was always willing to help those in need. She took every opportunity to share life lessons with others in hopes of making the future a little brighter.

“Live a meaningful life and share with others” seemed to be the rule that she followed.

Marjorie graduated from Berryville High School in 1949. She completed Springfield Baptist Nurses Training and graduated in 1953.

She moved to Okarche where she married Merton Kremeier on April 19, 1953.

As a nurse, she began working at Kingfisher Memorial Hospital for a couple of years and then transferred to Okarche Memorial Hospital for part-time nursing duties, then later retiring to the dairy farm.

Marjorie was a member of the St. John’s Ladies Aid/ Lamplighters, Home Extension Club the “Busy Bees” and served on the St. John’s PTL, Okarche Fair Board and Okarche Memorial Hospital Board.

Marjorie enjoyed reading, word search puzzles and gardening.


Marjorie is survived by her two children, son Stanley Kremeier of Okarche and daughter Ellen McIntyre and husband Norman of Houston, Texas.

She is also survived by grandchildren Owen McIntyre and wife Dawn of League City, Texas; Douglas McIntyre and wife Hannah of Alpine, Texas; Karen McIntyre of League City, Texas; and great-grandchildren Juliette and Makayla McIntyre and Camden and Mavrick McIntyre.

She is also survived by two brothers, Robert Hull and wife Rada and Charles Hull and wife Myra Dean.


She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Virginia Paz and Carolyn Lane; brother Lloyd Hull; and many nieces and nephews.
 

Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 7, at St. John’s Lutheran Church with burial following at St. John’s Cemetery in Okarche.
