Joyce Ann Mueggenborg was born Nov. 14, 1956, in Okarche to Robert H. and Madlyn (Krittenbrink) Mueggenborg. Joyce died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Kingfisher. She was 67.

Joyce graduated from Okarche High School and remained an avid Warrior fan. For 50 years she delivered the Daily Oklahoman newspaper. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

Joyce is survived by brothers Robert F. Mueggenborg of Okarche and Patrick J. Mueggenborg of Kingfisher; sister Lena M. Mueggenborg of the home in Okarche; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and greatgreat- nieces and great-greatnephews.

A vigil prayer service for Joyce will be 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13. Mass of Christian

Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14. Both services will be in Okarche at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Rev. Zachary Boazman and Deacon Max Schwarz officiating.
Burial will be at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Huber- Benson Funeral Home, El Reno.

A donation in Joyce’s name can be presented to either Holy Trinity Catholic Church or the Okarche basketball teams.
