Rosary services for Cathy Sue Eischen, 45, will be 7 p.m. today at St. Anthony’s
Catholic Church, Okeene. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the
church. The Rev. James Mickus will officiate. Burial will be 4:30 p.m. in Holy
Trinity Cemetery, Okarche. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home Inc. There
will be no public viewing. Guest may sign the register at the funeral home.
She was born March 18, 1962, in Tulsa to Roy L. and Shirley M. Venable Clymer
and died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, at Integris Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma
City.
She grew up in Tulsa and moved to El Reno where she graduated from El Reno High
School in 1980. She attained her bachelor’s degree in English education from
Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1985.
She married Pete Eischen June 3, 1983, in El Reno. In 1984, they moved to
Fairview to start a new business. She was instrumental in the Fairview Meals on
Wheels program for 23 years and was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in
Okeene. She was a charter member of the Mu Gamma Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, a
coordinator for Meals on Wheels and a member of the PEO.
Surviving are her husband, Pete, of Fairview; one son, Jeffrey J. Eischen of
Fairview; one daughter, Megan L. Eischen of Fairview; her parents, Roy L. and
Shirley M. Clymer of Enid; and one brother, Scott Clymer of Edmond.
She was preceded in death by an infant sister.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Fairview Meals on Wheels, Fairview Hospital Foundation or O.M.R.F., cancer research.
