© Shawnee News StarFormer Shawnee resident Betty Jo Lewis, 68, Oklahoma City, died Thursday.
She was born March 10, 1933, in Goree, Texas, the daughter of J. L. "Tuck" and Noriene Duval.
She grew up in Shawnee.
She had lived in Venezuela, Utah, Texas and Louisiana before moving to Yukon in 1976.
Mrs. Lewis, a private pilot, worked in petroleum and real estate.
She was the Pentecostal faith.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Survivors include J. B. Lewis; children and their spouses, John Michael and Sherry Lewis of Vernal, Utah; Marcia and Chris Darrow of Del City; Tommy Alan and Vickie Lewis of Mustang; and Leslie and Lynn Stambaugh of Piedmont; grandchildren, D. J. Lewis, Jim and Amelia Lewis, Amelia, T. J. and Cassie Joe Lewis, Elizabeth Darrow and Angelia Wells; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Monday at Yanda and Son Chapel in Yukon.
Burial will follow at Frisco Cemetery, also in Yukon.
