David Lynn Heitman, 87, of Midwest City, Oklahoma passed away May 28, 2009 at his residence.

Born April 19, 1922 in Horton, Kansas to John Henry and Marie Elizabeth (McLaughlin) Heitman.

Preceded in death by: both parents, son, Max Heitman, stepson Rick Hardy, daughter-in-law Cindy Heitman and brother Maurice Heitman.

He is survived by: Bettye Jo Heitman, of the home, son, John Heitman, McAlester, OK, stepdaughter Deborah Kaye Redus and husband, Ron, Reeds Spring, Mo, 1 granddaughter, 3 grandsons, 1 great granddaughter, 2 great grandsons, nieces and nephews and many friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 1, at 1:00 p.m. at Midwest Blvd. Christian Church.

Interment will follow at El Reno Cemetary in El Reno, Oklahoma.
