Wade Dean Piersall was born on March 31, 1955 on a US military base in Frankfurt, Germany to Dean and Peggy Piersall. Wade passed away on March 7, 2023 in El Reno, Oklahoma.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Peggy and Dean Piersall, and grandparents Clarence (Tiny) and Hazel Royse and Thornton and Della Piersall and his parents-in-law Robert and Mary Lund of El Reno.

Wade graduated from Yukon High School. He attended Oklahoma State and was a lifelong OSU fan and felt sorry for those supporting OU. He was a bull rider for many years and loved the rodeo and horses. He worked for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority for over three decades. He started a mowing business on the side to work on the weekends with his son Cody, and over the next 15 years his other children and grandchildren took part as well. In his free time he could be found talking to a friend or family member on the phone, watching Oklahoma State football or basketball, reading a fantasy novel, or playing Zelda. He was generous to everyone and never met a stranger. Even in the face of great pain, he was steadfast and a source of great strength and love for those in his life. He loved his children and grandchildren, and always made sure they knew it.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Patricia Piersall; children Kevin and Ronda Piersall of El Reno, Keri and Jacob Clowers of Oklahoma City, Cody and Laura Piersall of Norman, grandchildren Kolby, Maddox, and Brexley Piersall, Lochlan and Everett Clowers, Fitz, Jack, and Bobby Piersall; sisters Patti Kuck of Tulsa and Julie and Jim Smith of Park Hill, and his beloved nieces and nephews.

Come & Go Viewing and Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, March 13, 2023, at Wilson Funeral Home.

The family will be present from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at the First Baptist Church.

Interment will follow services at the El Reno Cemetery.
