The memorial service celebrating and
honoring the life of Tammy LaNet
Shrum, 51, of Enid, will be held
12:00 P.M. Saturday March 27, 2021
at the El Reno Cemetery under the
direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral
Home.
Tammy was born October 5, 1969 to
Hayden Michael Shrum Sr. and Barbara
Ann Roberts in Enid, Oklahoma and
passed from this life February 15,
2021 in Enid, Oklahoma.
She was raised in Enid until the age
of ten when she moved with her
family to El Reno the family later
moved to Geary, Blackwell and Red
Rock where she graduated from High
School in 1987. In 1989 she suffered
a traumatic life event that had
changed her world forever. With
determination she learned to walk,
talk, and eat all over again. She
met Jon Lee Baker in 1996 and they
became life partners for twenty-five
years and raised two children
together, Camron and Searra.
She attended college continuing to
learn throughout her life to further
her education. She enjoyed spending
most of her days with her two
beautiful children whom she loved
more than anything else in this
world. She loved to be a mother. It
was most definitely her calling. She
enjoyed listening to music, spending
time at the lake, hunting, fishing,
and going to stock car races and
with her very best friends; her
children, Jon and her dogs.
She is survived by her life partner,
Jon Baker, of the home; one
daughter Searra Shrum, of Enid; one
son Cameron Shrum, of Enid; and one
grand daughter Adrielle Jade Shrum.
Including several siblings in Wakita,
Oklahoma and Hot Springs, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by one
daughter Kayla Kristine, her parents
Hayden and Barbara Shrum, and one
sister Tina Shrum.
