Our dear, sweet Larissa Rose Blevins Jewell peacefully slipped into eternity Sunday morning, February 2, 2020 at 2:20am.

Larissa was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on December 14, 1995 to Larry and Vanessa Blevins.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Thomas N. Sharp.

Larissa is survived by her husband, Cody Jewell of El Reno; Parents, Larry and Vanessa Blevins of El Reno; Brother, Evan Riddle of Lawton; Maternal Grandparents, Allen and Illa Faye Johnson of El Reno; Paternal Grandparents, Lloyd and Thelma Blevins of Piedmont; Uncle and Aunt Mark and Sue Sharp of Yukon; Aunt, Tracey Blevins of Piedmont.

Larissa is a 2015 graduate of El Reno High school.  She met her husband, Cody while working at Swadley’s in El Reno.  Soon afterward they embarked on a friendship that lasted four years before they became husband and wife on November 15, 2019.  Larissa loved God, her family, friends and her church families.  She also held a special place in her heart for dogs.  Including her faithful companion and service dog, Belle, who stayed by  Larissa’s side throughout her illness.  Larissa touched many lives with her kindness and compassion.  She enjoyed baking, crocheting, spending time with her husband, family and friends, watching movies and reading psychological thrillers.  Larissa’s life was taken too soon.  She fought hard against the battle of cancer that ended her life.

Her family and dearest friends are comforted by knowing that she is no longer in pain as she is in Heaven with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Visitation will be from 1:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Buchanan

Funeral Service in Oklahoma City.  Services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Christ’s Legacy Church in Oklahoma City.

Burial will follow at El Reno Cemetery.
