Graveside funeral services for Alton Gail
Chadwick of Bokoshe, OK, formerly of El Reno,
will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2019,
in the El Reno Cemetery. Rev. Glen Chapman will
officiate.
Interment will be in the El Reno
Cemetery. Services are under the direction of
Wilson Funeral Home.
Mr. Chadwick passed away on April 9, 2019 at his
home. He was born on May 16,1943, in El Reno,
OK, to his parents, Loyd Alton and Esther Lavern
(Bench) Chadwick. He was a graduate of El Reno
High School and El Reno Junior College.
Alton Gail Chadwick married Billy Mae Nelson on
September 3, 1965 in El Reno. They later lived
in Enid for many years.
Alton served in the U.S. Navy. He had worked as
a foreman in a Machine Shop and Paint Shop.
He was preceded in death by his parents Loyd
Alton and Esther Laverne (Bench) Chadwick;
sister Carolyn 'Cricket' Faye Champion; and son
Michael Gail Chadwick.
Survivors include his wife Billy Mae (Nelson)
Chadwick of the Home; daughter Lisa Gayle
Carlton of Yukon; brother William Loyd Chadwick
and wife Barbara of El Reno; five grandchildren
Krystian, Sheldon, Jayden Chadwick, Lenny and
Josie Carlton. And numerous other relatives and
many dear friends.
The family suggests memorials be made to the
American Cancer Society 6525 N. Meridian Suite
110, Oklahoma City, OK 73116.
