ENID, Okla. — Prayer service is 7 p.m. today, June 26, 2013, at Benson Memorial Chapel. Deacon John Teague will officiate. Mass of Christian burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 27, at Sacred Heart Church. Rev. Mark Mason officiating. Burial in El Reno Cemetery. Arrangements by Huber-Benson Funeral Home, El Reno, Okla.

Catherine was born Nov. 13, 1923, in Calumet, the daughter of Charles Peter and Katherine Marie (Schechinger) Reding and died Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Care Living Center in El Reno.

Catherine was a 1942 graduate of Sacred Heart Academy.

She was a homemaker and also retired from Woolco.

On Jan. 16, 1965, Catherine married Robert L. Brungard. They moved to Enid in 1966, where she was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; sister, Irene Parizek and husband Martin of Yukon; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dr. Anthony Reding, Charles Reding and Eugene Reding; sisters, Anna Ketter, Clara Schwarz and Corene Hammen.

Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart School, 208 S. Evans, El Reno, OK 73036.
