Banner Man Killed As Car Turns Over
EL RENO, June 9

Crushed under an overturned truck, Earl Blanton of Banner, 24 years old, was instantly killed when his neck was broken in an accident near the El Reno cemetery on the El Reno-Oklahoma City highway late Friday afternoon.

As Blanton was attempting to pass an auto it is thought that something went wrong with his steering gear, the machine turning off sharply and striking a telephone pole.
