Anadarko, Oklahoma Thursday, October 24, 1991 August 6, 1921 ~ October 20, 1991 Margaret B. Kaulaity, 70, Anadarko, Okla., were Wednesday at the Ware's Chapel Indian Methodist Church in Anadarko with the Revs. Reuben Ahhaitty and Steve Chibitty officiating. Burial was in Hog Creek Cemetery in the Hog Creek community near Anadarko. Mrs. Kaulaity died Sunday, October 20, 1991, at Anadarko Municipal Hospital. She was born August 6, 1921, in Stecker, Okla., to Enoch and Mary Blankinship. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Methodist church. She belonged to the War Mother's Chapter 18 of the Kiowa Tribe and served the organization as sergeant of arms. Survivors include two sons, Ewan M., Lawrence, and Robert L. Sr., McAlester, Okla.; five daughters, Marilyn Kaulaity, Doris Kaulaity, Rose LeFerr and Mary Lee Kaulaity, all of Anadarko, and Ouida Jean Querns, Stecker, Okla.; 75 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren |
Anadarko, Oklahoma December 11, 2002 February 16, 1942 ~ December 6, 2002 Funeral services for Marilyn Gayle Kaulaity, 60, of Anadarko were held Tuesday, December 10, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ware's Chapel in Anadarko. Prayer services were held Monday, December 9, 2002 at 7 p.m. at the Smith-Hackney Chapel in Anadarko. Marilyn was born February 16, 1942 in Lawton to Manford and Margaret Belle [Blankenship] Kaulaity and died Friday, December 6, 2002 in Anadarko. She was a member of the Kiowa Tribe and had attended Ft. Sill Indian School. She was recently enrolled in cosmetology classes at Caddo Kiowa Technology in Ft. Cobb. She is survived by one son, Eddie Dean Monks of Granite; three daughters, Peggy Sue Monks of Oklahoma City, Bronecia Rose Circles of Anadarko and Dana Louis Darrell of Piedmont; six sisters, Rosilie Laffer, Marylee Kaulaity, Alexander Anderson Kaulaity, all of Anadarko, Jeanie Kaulaity of Lawton and Doris Kaulaity of Oklahoma City; five brothers, Robert Kaulaity, McAlester, Mosses Kaulaity, Anadarko, Joshua M. Kaulaity and Isaac Kaulaity, Canada and Ewane Kaulaity of Lawerence, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Randy Monks; two brothers, Gary Kaulaity and Walter Kaulaity; one sister, Verla Ann Kaulaity and maternal grandfather, Enoch Blankenship. McAlester, Oklahoma February 2006 April 18, 1948 ~ February 09, 2006 Born 4-18-1948 in Carnegie to Manfred V. and Margaret [Blankenship] Kaulaity. Died 2-09-2006 at his home in McAlester, OK. Grad AHS, where he ran track and was an all-stater, holding the record in the mile for many years. Played football, and was a lifeguard at the Anadarko Public Pool. He was an avid dancer. He was a member of the Kiowa Tribe, and a member of the Kiowa Gourd Clan. He loved and honored his traditional ways in life. He joined US Army, served over a year in Vietnam. was injured there and spent a long time in Brooks Army Hospital in San Antonio. He was honorably discharged in 1969. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Gary and Walter Kaulaity, sisters Marilyn and Verla Kaulaity, and grandparents, Henry and Alice [Ware] Kaulaity and Mr & Mrs Enoch Blankenship. Survivors include one son, Bobby Kaulaity of Anadarko; 2 daughters, Robin Gail Botone and husband Kevin, and Leigh Ann Kaulaity, all of Anadarko; 6 sisters, Rose LaFerr and husband Don, Doris Kaulaity, Mary Lee Kaulaity, Jennie Kaulaity, Sunbeam Kaulaity, Alex Kaulaity, all of Anadarko; brothers, Evan Kaulaity and wife Marie of Lawrence, KS, Moses Kaulaity, Joshua Kaulaity and Isaac Kaulaity, all of Canada; 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
