Daniel Scott Lanier

Daniel Scott Lanier was born on September 23, 1979 in Weatherford, Oklahoma to Steve and Christi [Martin] Lanier. He passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2009 in Douglas County, Lawrence, Kansas at the age of 29.

Survivors include his mother, Christi Lanier of Lawrence, Kansas and his father, Steve Lanier and stepmother Karen of Hinton, Oklahoma; 3 brothers, Nathan Lanier and wife Misti of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Matthew Lanier and wife Mudhita of Jakarta, Indonesia and Anthony Morris of Hinton, Oklahoma, maternal grandmother, Margie Martin of Crawford, Oklahoma; one niece, Candace Lanier of Eakly, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Martin Lanier.

Services were held Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Lookeba, Oklahoma officiated by Rev. Tom Clifton. Burial followed at the Sickles Cemetery, Lookeba, Oklahoma. Services were under the direction of Turner Funeral Home, Hinton, Oklahoma.

Services in Lawrence, Kansas under the direction of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
