Gerald R. Vincent, 79 of Mountain View, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, January 4, 2019. Gerald was born March 30, 1939 in Weatherford, Oklahoma to Elijah Thomas "Lige" Vincent and Katie Herron Vincent.

Gerald attended Eakly Public School graduating with the Class of 1957.Lige" He served in the Army for 3 years. During the Vietnam war he was stationed in the Philippine Islands (1962-1965). Later in Panama. He completed military duty in Washington D.C. Before military service Gerald worked before and after at Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas for a total of 13 years. After completing his military time, he returned to Dallas. At that time he served the French Electronic Company Syrelec as President of North America, Canada, and Mexico from 1975-2002. Gerald was a member of the Eakly United Methodist Church.

Gerald married Jenny Fulford on May 4, 1968 in Durant, Oklahoma.

After retiring in 2002, he and Jenny purchased a small ranch in Mountain View, Oklahoma for a quiet, peaceful life.

Gerald is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jenny Fulford Vincent of the home. Son, Michael Vincent and wife Belinda, children Amber, Jocelyn and Tyler of Fort Worth, Tx; Son, Sean Vincent and daughter Jonna of Kaufman, Tx. Siblings: Marietta Phillips [Billy] of Carnegie, Ok, Frank Vincent, Eakly Ok. Robert Vincent [Linda] El Reno, Ok, Bonnie Smith [Neal] Mountain View, Ok, Reba Patton Jackson [Dale] Mountain View, Ok, Reuben [Sabrina] Vincent, May, Tx, Numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and infant brother Troy.

The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Carnegie United Methodist Church Food Pantry, % Jenny Vincent, 24165 E. 1310 Rd., Mountain View, Ok 73062. The family also requests everyone dress in casual attire.
