Funeral services for Paula Jo Rich, 74 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Tuesday, March 7, 2017, 2:00 P.M. in “The Chapel” of Lockstone Funeral Home with Jeff Sikes officiating. Burial will follow in Poage Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Paula was born August 12, 1942, in Sterling, Oklahoma to Paul R. and Cora Ellen [Simpson] King and passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Paula was raised and attended school in Sterling, Oklahoma and later the family moved to Colony, Oklahoma.

She married Bill Smith and they made their home in Mountain View, Oklahoma and to this union they had two children, Bill and Robert.

Paula later married Alvin Rich and he was killed in an accident.

She married Bernie Chambers and they made their home in Dallas, Texas where they raised their family.

Paula retired from the Internal Revenue Service and later moved to Weatherford in 2006. Her pride and joy was her Dalmatian dog, Sparky.

Paula enjoyed cooking, working puzzles, fishing, spending time with family and friends, and she loved the Lord and reading her Bible. She also taught Sunday school in church for a short time.

Paula is survived by two sons, Bill Smith and wife, Pamela of Carnegie, Oklahoma and Robert Smith and wife, Jamie of Kannapolis, North Carolina; six brothers and sisters, Danny King and wife, Freda of Colony, Oklahoma, Roy Dean King and wife, Geneva of Thomas, Oklahoma, Raymond King and wife, Kay of Colony, Oklahoma, Roger King and wife, Regina, Ted King and wife, Dolores, and Lorie Owens and husband, Steve all of Weatherford, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy, Jerry, and Steve and one sister, Betty.
